yup. pet coon. I shot the momma awhile back when she was growling and snarling at the kids when they opened the storage shed. I was retreiving my kill when I found the nest with 3 babies in it. They didn't even have their eyes open yet. My wife and daughters bottle fed them til they started walking they they started eating cat food. One got hit by a car,one disappeared(it had limited use of its back legs so I'm thinkin a 'yote got it) and the one that's left comes and goes as it pleases like an old friend. we can still pick her up and hand feed her. I've got vids on youtube when she was small playing with the dog. Ill see if I can find them.

Good pets? More of a PITA than anything. They're very curious and get into everything. Not a good indoor pet. We kept her in a wire dog kennel under the back deck until she was old enough to defend herself. I do shoot coons at night with my bow,and if she's in the wrong place at the wrong time...So far she hasn't been.

I would say a Fisher for sure. Generally coons are not out in the winter, and those are way big for a pine martin. They definitely have a "snowshoe" look to them, with lots of fur, so its an animal that is used to being out in the winter, which again rules out raccoon. Also, coons have very human like front hand prints, with distinguishable fingers. My best educated guess would be a fisher.

A lot of people guessed coon and every other thing. But I thought the same thing when I saw them. Fisher is what my answer is too.
