Let this be a lesson for you. Never ever ty to let a bow down slowly. You're probably aware of it now, but when we try to let down too slowly we end up torquing the bow and that's what causes derailments 99% of the time. That and more draw weight than we can control. Just something to think about.

Oh yeah, they are!! A couple of standout posts really made fanboy sense! In a thread about a derailed Reezen, srsbznz says "Just out of everyone I've known with a Reezen albeit 6.5 or 7.0 haven't heard one derailing." Any one care to guess what his avatar is? And the other jewel, for his 31st post Hoss606 says "You seem to have bad luck with bows, whether mathews or martin" and his signature says Mathews Z7 Xtreme 70# 27.5"![]()

I really got a lot of laughs out of your thread on AT.Of course, I'm not at all surprised by some of the responses.

I think it makes no difference to the fan boys, just an excuse / REEZEN for them to pounce. If it had been a Bowtech that blew you wouldn't be able to keep up with them. That's why I like it here, it's more about shooting period. Martin is prefered but not required, bow problems are bow problems and these guys try to point ya in the right direction.

AMEN!
I get way more help and insight from those of us here than those at AT...
Besides, before I bought my Onza, I tried to jump ship; shot Hoyt, Mathews, Bear, G5, Alpine, Diamond... just could not find a bow that shot/felt any better than my cat for the $$. Put that alongside world class people and customer service, you gotta go Martin![]()
My wife packed my bags and threw me out, as I was walking out the door, she told me "I hope you have a long and miserable life!"... To which I replied "Oh, now you want me to stay?!" LOL
