Hey guys, customer dropped off a Martin Rage 2001 with z cams. Its an old bow but in really good shape (except the strings). So he asked me to put on new strings, tune it and Chrono it before and after. So I put it in the shooting machine and fired away. It only hit 233fps which was odd to me since it had a 29 inch draw. Then I built him a set of kiwi and tan/blk strings and set the bow up to specs. But not timed or completely tuned. Shot it again in the shooting machine 255fps cool. Now it was time to set the timing, tune it and find the sweet spot. Took a little time but the official speed of this old timer is 262fps. Not bad for a bow that old. Just think I haven't put any speed nocks on yet!!!
