    Default wish me luck

So,after 2yrs and nearly 800 job apps in this economical trash pit known as Michigan, I finally have an interview today. I'm pumped for sure. I'm not sure on the details yet,but beggars can't be choosers. Ya know? I'd shave a horses butt for cash, right now. Well...maybe not. I also got hired to destroy an old house and remove it from the property. That will help, also. Life has been sheer Hell since our house burned down 8yrs ago. It just goes to show if you keep your head held high and thank God for the small things, bigger and better is bound to happen sooner or later.

I know what you mean. There are lots of jobs out there, but how many can pay the bills. Minimum wage just doesn't cut it. Driving school bus I make $13.32/hr but it's just part time. Being retired I have an income of right at $40 grand without working so the driving is just pocket money for me and something to do. The wife makes about 37 grand a year so we feel very fortunate compared with many. The house and everything is all paid for so I'm able to save about 4 grand every three months without the wife contributing. Never could convince her to save.

Hope your interview goes well and you get something solid and long term.

Good luck for sure dude. Couldn't imagine some of the crap some people are having to go through with the way things have been in recent years.
