going back to target colors/stripping paint

I would like to turn my martin back into a target bow. Years ago I stripped it down and camo painted it with Krylon camo paint. I want to know what to do about the limbs. Should I just scuff them and paint them my color of choice or can I effectively and safely strip the Krylon down to the black carbon matrix look of OEM?

I don't know how well it would work taking of the "new" paint to get to the original finish w/o messing it up. try some acetone(nail polish remove) on a rag then LIGHTLY rubbing it. That might be the way to go. When I refinished my Cheetah I did that and took off the dip and still had the base showing.
