Default Thinking about a bow for my fiance

Any thoughts on the Prowler Pro with the Fury xt cam and 50 lb limbs? Her draw needs to be measured but its probably about 24", so the bow might just adjust enough to fit her (we'd definitely check before any money is spent. She's quite petite so she'd never pull more than 50 lbs, so thats why I am thinking the light limbs. And then the bow would I guess adjust all the way down to 15 lbs... Though she'd probably shoot it at no less than 25.

Anyone have any experience setting up one of these bows short and light? How did it shoot? I think it would probably be better to get something more directly aimed towards a short length low weight archer, but I can't help wondering about it.

Prowler won't be available for this year. But you on the right track I think in going with the Fury cam and the adjustability.

any of the bows with the Fury cam and 50# limbs would work just fine. As for the Prowler, and the Exile Pro, last I heard they were discontinued do to unavoidable outside interference... (3rd party could not meet their production requirements).

I would check out the Exile or the Bengal...

if she is petite i wouldnt get her a bow that is over 3 or 3.3 lbs tops, which the crossfire, exile and non existent prowler just make. add sight, rest, arrow etc it adds up. i certainly agree she needs a bow that is designer for smaller statured shooters, and not just only look at the draw length & poundage specs. unfortunately that leaves her with few martin options in 2012 models.
best bets : 1. razor edge slender and nicely adjustable w/plenty of good reviews also.
    2. thunderbolt/pink destiny very adjustable and virtually silent, the slimmest compound bow i have ever seen.
    3. recurve = it is still fun and can help her build up strength til she can pull more weight.

Good insight madman. The bow needs to fit her in more than just draw length and draw weight. Thats something I hadn't thought much about. So now my list of bows sadly doesn't have any Martins at the top of it... At least until I start looking for my next bow...
