    Default drop rest conversion

Thought some of you might like this. I was tinkering with an NAP Quicktune 800 prong rest the other night before bed and converted it to a drop away rest. All I did was reverse the tension spring so it's pulling the prongs down instead of keeping them up. Then I took a locking collar from another rest to attach the pull cord to. It seems to function properly but haven't shot it yet. Pics as required

That is how my older Martins rest is set up. Its an old NAP rest converted to drop away. I think I bought I conversion kit for it years ago. I actually like it other than the fact there is no marks for adjustment so minute adjustments can be a pain. But once set....it works well.
