    Default Wont make speed.

I just have to think that comments about Rytera's not making their rated IBO can only be due to improper setups.

'09 Alien X maxed at 52#, 29"dl with all measurements right on the money.
Black Eagle Arrows UL Carnivore, total arrow weight 292gn.

I think that calculates right on or maybe a hair over listed IBO for this bow.

heck ya that is smokin! And I agree that those not making "IBO" are not setup right OR not taking into consideration the differences in string weight/draw weight/draw length/arrow weight/etc., and how they affect your speeds.
My wife packed my bags and threw me out, as I was walking out the door, she told me "I hope you have a long and miserable life!"... To which I replied "Oh, now you want me to stay?!" LOL

    2011 Onza 3: 70#, 28.25 draw (AMO), 384 gr arrow, 288 fps
    2005 Saber: 70#, same arrow, 250 fps

I have an '12 Strother SX RUSH set up at the same dw and dl as the AX and shot them back to back with the same arrow this morning.
The RUSH gets 302.3fps. That meets their IBO rating but - - - -
the Alien X is still 10 faster.

Last time i ran my ax through an ibo calculator i came up with 355 i think. I shoot a 343 grain aarow at 301 fps at 63 lbs and 27.75 dl....
My az came in at 295 fps, 342 grain aarow, 65 lb dw, and dl as short as it would go without twisting the string (28 in ish)

Really makes me want to get my hands on a chrono to see where mine sits. I couldn't tell you what the DW is because I don't have access to a scale or draw board, but am really curious to see how it shakes out.

Spiker amen to that. We have been trying to tell people go through the bow and put everything to specs then tweak it to perfection. Then get the right weight arrows and you will see great results. Nice to see your x is smoking!!!

I'm going to add a few grains to the arrow to get it a bit over 300 and then shoot it out of my 62# AX tomorrow.
