I love my Onza 3, but couldn't make such a promise to anyone. Reason is it may eat cables near the cams. If that is the case, it is relatively easy to fix as we have discussed before, but this should be observed when starting to use the bow.

Anything i should do to stop this from occurring??

Just keep an eye on them and if thy are getting roughed up you just need to smooth out your mods a little. There are a few posts about it here.

From what Ive read it has been a problem but its been kinda hit and miss. Ive got a 2011 and havent had any problems. One of the first things I do with any new bow or with any bow that I put new strings and cables is rub down the strings and cables a good quality string wax. Then I pack it in the cam grooves or idler grooves. This offers good lubrication and helps to condition. Natural wear is gonna happen but excelerated wear indicates a problem that needs to be dealt with.
