    Default swapping cams

Would it be possible to buy newer cams like nitrous cams or something similar, and put them on an older Martin bow that originally had Z cams? I doubt I would spend the money but it is something i wondered about.

The Fury, Furious, and Nitrous cams would probably work fine, but I would stay away from using Nitro or Hybrix cams on the older models as they don't have the reinforced limb tips required of the new slaved dual cams.

axle diamters the same? I have heard that cams with speed bearings need special hardened axles. Like I said I probably won't spend the money. But an interesting thought. With what a set of cams would cost, it wouldn't be cost effective.
