Default 2012 Silencer Fury cam Speed?

Hey guys I have a 2012 Martin Silencer with fury single cam. It is 60# 28.5 DL with a 375 gr arrow. I am not all that worried about speed but Iím not getting what I think this bow should produce. I am only getting 262 FPS. From what I see on OT2 and Archers Advantage it should be around 275+. This is with a peep; d-loop and factory speed nocks (drop a way rest). I normally shoot this with it on the -10# peg with the limbs maxed out, but for testing I did try it on the standard peg with the limbs backed down to 60#s also. I also set it to 73.3#s (maxed out) and 29.5 DL (as long as I could go with same arrow) and I was only getting 290 FPS. Am I just thinking about this too much, I am really not the guy who is worried about every FPS I can get. If it is low why? Cam seems to be in sync ATA is ok and BH is ok. Sorry for the short story but this is driving me nuts.

Actually it sounds like you're right on the money:

    -1.5" = -18fps (from 30")
    -10# = -20fps (from 70#)
    -Dloop/peep = -2fps (From 0 string weight)
    -25gr = -20fps (from 350 grn arrow)
    ____________
    Total loss = -60fps

    320 to 330 IBO - 60 = 260 to 270 fps....

    Hope that helps!

Your not going to get the full potenial from a single cam bow compared to hybrid, duel cam bow.but your speeds seems right on.

Anyone know if the "field test" for speed is close to an accurate assessment to give you a ballpark figure?

With my Pantera, I have the bow maxed out and with the bolts backed out a quarter turn each its set at 71-72#s. Im shooting a 29" DL......my string has a loop, a tied serving knot for a kisser plus an ultra-lite super peep. I dont have any kind of string suppressers. My arrows are GT XT hunters and they weigh 364.5grn's each................Im getting a consistant 285 FPS on my chrono. Now according to the calculations, thats slower than it should be.
