All joking aside, I think you would agree that this buck is using this trail often! What you can't see in the pictures is the pond at the end of the trail plus the alfalfa field !

Are you going to have your stand in the same tree that the camera is on? If he keeps using this trail, it will give you a nice quartering shot. If you move the camera over to one of the trees he is looking toward, and time it just right, maybe you could get a trail cam pic of your shot!

Just on the oposite side of him about 15yds in the woods I have a lock on stand in a hickory , it over looks this old clear cut. Ive hunted this trail for many years now and have taken some nice bucks. Last year on Oct. 9th I took a real nice 8pt here, I was in my stand well before daylight and my trail camera started going off. This is a huge oak grove and they were eating acorns. Long story short when it got light enough there he was standing just off the trail eating acorns.

Its actually whats left from an old powerline that went to a small farm years ago. The poles havent been there now for many years but I keep it mowed low and I have small food plots in various parts of it.
