    Default New Toy new rest

    Hi all,

as per the title, the item just arrived at my door step. it a Trophy ridge Revolution rest. It looks well built and solid.
This is my first drop away rest, after years shooting prong rest, and WB.

    BUT...

Im no confident to set it up on my bow. i called a fren of mine at my local archery shop, even worst, they never heard of this rest. Bang wall!!!!...

So, i tried it with my hand, turning it to lock the position, and release it by hand, it seem hard for the arm to go back to the original position. is the rest sensitivity adjustable? or it will work great once setup right on the bow as per the instruction provided.? i just dare not to risk my arm for the rest to explode.

Bro, and Sis give some comment, to encourage me to set it up on my bow to shoot it... or maybe im too comfortable with WB all this while.

Well I put one on my bow a while back an I had some of the same thoughts but I just put it on any way. The biggest thing you have to watch is that the cord is tied on so it pulls the rest up like it should otherwise it will not rotate out of the way till your vanes hit it. I messed up three arrows before I figured out what was up with mine. But once I got it set up I really like it and have not had any issues with it so far.

Give it a try,you probably will like it.Worst case you get a arrow through the hand

Seriously I would install it,I have heard good reviews on AT about this rest. You always can put the WB back on.Main thing with a drop away is to get it timed right.

    Good Luck

well, since theoritically it will works, so i will put it on 2molo, and give feedback to all.

just curious, does it matter, if the cord is rubbing again the bridge riser? coz i plan to put it on my Rytera Nemesis.
