I shoot easton powerflight 340's now, 28" with 100 grain field point and the rage bh. Any body shoot these? I have a WB, would these be to narrow/small/thin to work properly in the the biscut?These eastons are 9.3 gpi, shooting 27" and 60#'s on the X, actual speed, no clue. These do seem heivier than the typical arrow used to test bow IBO's.

As long as you are using the small biscuit, they'll shoot well. I shoot and love the VAP's. I shot them through a medium biscuit, and the accuracy was a little off, but still plenty effective out to 40 yards for hunting. Beyond that, I wouldn't use the medium biscuit. I think the VAP's are a great combination of lighter weight, good speed, durability, and excellent penetration. I shoot the 300's and 350's, and usually end up with arrows in the 365-400gr. weight range. I do use pin nocks and bushings in my hunting arrows for a little added weight too. The VAP's also offer 3 different weight inserts. A 33, 47, and a 93 gr. That allows you to tailor the weight to your liking a little bit more than normal. The 93 gr. insert is stainless steel, and a bit expensive though.

I don't have or know of a video that shows the arrow reaction to each insert. I will say that the stainless insert is heavy enough, I had to go to a 300 spine, rather then the 350 I normally shoot. Even dropping from 100 gr. heads down to 85 gr., the increased spine was needed. With either setup, the arrows give incredible penetration and accuracy. With a 300 spine, 93 gr. insert, and 85 gr. heads, the arrow weighs in at around 434 gr. 350 spine, 100 gr. head, 47 gr. insert I get an arrow at 386 gr. with Fusion vanes, or 383 with Norway Predator vanes or Blazers. The lighter arrow is my typical whitetail hunting setup.

I shoot vap v1s. Didnt have a clue there was different weight inserts , when I bought mine they came with some. They shoot ok, I went from all carbon Easton axis to vaps. Can't say they shoot any better, really. Like 1 to 1 and 1/2 inches more of penetration.accuracy is a tad better tad bit tighter grouping. I love the thin profile and the new ice coating does make arrow pulling easier. I have a rhino block xl target and their is a noticeable difference when pulling an arrow . To be honest the Easton axis is a better arrow for the money but price aside the vap is better.
