A X tear down

Thinking about dip'n the X, AP SNOW. I want to do the cams as well, I have not started yet. Do the speed bearings pop out of the cams easy, or are they a B-^$h? And do all of the little plastis decals just pop out/off. It would also need some crazy azz strings to, off white , black and brown, not to hard to figure that part out.

You don't have to take the bearings out to dip. Simply put a little dishwashing liquid on your fingertip, and put it on the bearing. That'll keep the basecoat and dip from sticking. They'll just wipe right off afterwards. As far as the emblems, use a hairdryer to heat them up a little, and they should peel off.
You may get some paint or film buildup on the bearing faces after you dip the bow, (it kinda balls up at times) but worst case scenario, you can take an old toothbrush and brush it off.

Thank's for the info. It looks like you have to many twin cam bows in your stable, if you plan on letting one go let me know.
