You don't have to take the bearings out to dip. Simply put a little dishwashing liquid on your fingertip, and put it on the bearing. That'll keep the basecoat and dip from sticking. They'll just wipe right off afterwards. As far as the emblems, use a hairdryer to heat them up a little, and they should peel off.
You may get some paint or film buildup on the bearing faces after you dip the bow, (it kinda balls up at times) but worst case scenario, you can take an old toothbrush and brush it off.
