    NY is open Oct 1 for whitetail, that's 2 weeks earlier than we were last year.

    October 1st here in Iowa. Youth season starts 2 weeks earlier and both of my boys are pumped. My 12 year old is bowhunting and my 8 year old is using a smokepole. The trailcam pics I've been getting is making it worse on them.
    A little common sense goes a long way, unfortunately it's in short supply!
