    Default New Alien

I received a phone call today from a buddy of mine, looking to buy my 02 Cougar. We agreed on a price, but I now need to get a new bow. I call my shop, and he tells me he can set me up in an Alien X. I don't know much about the Rytera line, except I looked at the website and do not see the X in the 2012 line, only the XT and the Ultralight. The specs and price of the XT seem to reflect what he was talking about, but I am not 100%. I am going to check it out next week. What are the differences between the X (possible left over 2011), and the XT and Ultralight?

x2 That's right. The XT is a new Rytera for 2012, and I believe some say it's similiar to the Onza III. The XT has a bridged riser, and has a longer ATA than the Ultralight.
    Here's the specs:
    2012 Ultralight
    Alien Ultralight, Light Years Ahead!
    - 3.5 lbs.
    - 31.5 axle to axle
    - 7 brace height
    - Draw weights 50#, 60#, 70#
    - Draw length modules from 27 to 30
    - Shooting String 54 5/8
    - Cables (2) 36 1/8

    2010 Alien X
    Specs (approximate)

    - 3.5 lbs.

    - 7 brace height
    - Draw weights 50#, 60#, 70#

    2012 XT

The Rytera Alien XT was built with the hunter in mind.
This bow is 33 1/4 ATA with a very forgiving 7 1/4 inch
brace height. We also utilized the bridged riser design
    for added stability and accuracy.
    Specs*
    - 330-340 FPS
    (70#, 30", 350 gr.)
    - 4 lbs.
    - 33.25" axle to axle
    - 7.25" brace height
    - Draw weights 50#, 60#, 70#
    - Draw Length 26" to 30.5"
    - Let-Off 80% (adjustable)

Congrats on the new bow MM, I hope it shoots well for you.

Well, I couldn't wait. Sold the old bow today, and went to the bow shop this evening and came home with the new X. I only shot a few times at the shop, but this thing is amazing. I will get some pictures up tomorrow, since my wife bought a new camera and I can't figure out how to work it. I really like the vista camo. I put my QAD LD rest on it, got a tru glo 4 pin sight, and x-coil stab.

Nice bow MM, and it's even a 2012.
