Default You ever buy from Sierra Trading post? I bought some Boots.

I've heard about Sierra Trading post before but really never checked out the site. I've been browsing the net looking for some quality boots for my son for his first hunt coming up this fall. I had issues last year with some new Lacrosse boots that I had had returned to Sportman's guide for a larger size. They say you should never wear new boots while hunting....I did and I paid for it last season. Long story made short, I almost lost the toe nails on both my big toes just after about two days of hunting. My feet would slide forward putting pressure on my Toe nails. They just look about normal now and it's been almost a year. So I got this almost new Lacrosse 11.5 collecting dust. I hope to sell it during our yard sale tomorrow.

I came across Sierra trading post today and liked their prices. I ended up buying my son some Irish Setter Kit Fox Lace-Up Hunting Boots - Waterproof, Insulated (For Youth)

I bought myself some Irish Setter Wingshooter DSS Viper Hunting Boots - Waterproof, 17” (For Men) I usually wear snake Proof gaiters with regular hunting boots as the area I hunt has a lot of Western Diamondbacks. One season, I observed 6-7 while I was hunting and almost stepped on two of them. The Snake gaiters are a pain in the rear end as they like to move around my shin while hiking. I got the savings shown on those pages plus an extra 30% percent off of that at checkout. $ 150.00 Bucks for both Boots shipped. This will be the first time I've purchased Irish Setter.

I've worn out several pairs of Irish Setter steel toed work boots, but that was way back in the 60-70's when I was in elevator construction, working on bare steel high rise, a really comfortable boot. I'm sure that you'll like them.

Our boots arrived today. We were out in the yard doing metal detecting when he rolled up. We had the box ripped apart and boots on in the drive way. Now it's time to get them worn in before my Hunts Starts Sept 1.
