    here's something else that me and wife are interested in! this little hummer is about 1500 miles off coarse. they usually migrate along the west coast. he just showed up here one day, & i will be glad when he leaves, he ran all of the other birds off. the only bird that has ever been seen here is the ruby throated,this one is a roufus, he is very agressive. i got this picture with my trail cam . notice the swirls of his wings .

    Fyi: there is a hummingbird festival coming up in Rockport, Texas.

    We have hummers by the truckload around here. Mostly the Ruby throateds. Not unusual to see 10-20 of them fighting over a feeder. Amazing little birds to watch.
