Thanks ElkSlayer!. He's not the biggest buck around but the meat is sure good. Maybe it's because I haven't had venison in awhile.

I've been working on the Skull. Now I just need to find a nice piece of Driftwood or an old fallen wooden fence post with some barbwire still attached to it for my Euro skull panel.

Excellent story Simon, nice shot too, great pictures & video. I think I know that field, just above the Keller ferry on the Wilbur side? Those Shuttle-T's are very nasty indeed, I love them.

Thanks and Bingo!. It's on the South side on Private property that borders state land. I shot him as he dropped from a plateau.. then he made a mad dash down toward the river.

WOW, what a read! Great save on the kid, I'm sure his parents are counting their blessings... you're an angel in disguise. Nice hunt too, congrats on the deer!
My wife packed my bags and threw me out, as I was walking out the door, she told me "I hope you have a long and miserable life!"... To which I replied "Oh, now you want me to stay?!" LOL

Hi, i recognize your username from AT too. We were at Spokane valley mall going over to Wholesale sports. Then we found out that Wholesale moved up to Northtown mall. Bummed. We went over the the Sports store across from best buy. They have a small hunting section but the people have always been good to me. I'm just glad the young fella will be alright...he is a little archer too. My back is healing up well but not good enough for elk hunting. No problem...there's always a next time.

Thanks wscywabbit. This deer was some good eating. I gave some to my neighbors and they said the same thing, It was very tame. Maybe it's the alfalfa they've been eating.
