    Default QAD vs ??

Okay, so I am not liking the qad I put on my Onza. I am still getting contact; just a little, but enough to get me hot. I am thinking about going back to a Nap 360, but I still like the science behind a drop away. If you had, lets say $75, what would you do?

I have a Trophy Taker Extreme Full Containment on both of my Onzas. Bought them on e-bay for about $65 each. Never had a problem with them. Only thing I had to do was cut the riser side containment arm down a little to clear the medallion on the riser bridge. It doesn't effect the performance of the rest at all though.

I like my nap Apache, it's short money and gets the job done. I've tried the QAD hdx and found that if you don't set the arm before you draw the arrow can fall off the arm as you draw landing between the riser and the rest. other than that a real nice rest.

Just FYI, the Apache and the Trophy Taker are going to be about the same. You will have to cut off the riser side containment arm about halfway to make it fit the Onza. I've done that one both mine, and have never had a problem with either. Arrows don't usually fall off the riser side. lol

Carbon Apache you should be good without having to do any mods, but they are pricey.

What I'd do is pick up a NAP QuikTune 3000 Micro, Prong style rest, turn the cock vane straight down, and say goodbye to vane contact. But thats me.
