How do you roll in the woods

Question is simple How do you take your gear afield? throw in in the car trunk or what?

we use a soft case and lay it in the back of the truck. or stack them in amoungst bikes as can be seen in
es4x5's picture
We are able to hunt in many differant areas requiring differt methods of doing such.
one is Driving from place to place looking in units for game to spot n stalk, taking short walks in to Un scouted areas hoping to walk up on some, to busy eattin deer. set up and rip on the ole fox pro hoping a bruin will come charging outa a berry patch

being forced to not hunt in my blind we had to hit the BLM roads Not favorite way to hunt but we atleast outa the house

When this sign is'nt up

This is how we roll out to the Cat blind, there's 3 bikes, 2 bows, 1 rifle and one bike trailer with tools on this truck headed out to build a new blind, before we found that sign up.

My bows ride on a padded area I made on the back of the folddown rear seat in my truck. My clothing always rides in the back, so no scent contamination outside of normal odors outdoors. Once at my hunting site, I get dressed, and carry everything in by hand. Fortunately, my longest hike in is only about 3/4 mile.

My old truck had a camper shell and carpit kit just laid the bow in the back was was ready to go anywhere

My gear goes into the back of my Jeep Cherokee, unless I'am in deer country, then my bow, rangefinder and binos ride in the passenger seat. I slip a bungee cord over the seat back and through the riser to hold my bow. No I am not a road hunter but you never know and it's nice to be able to bail out quick.

I spray scent killer on my seats and generally over the inside of my Jeep during hunting season. Tracked a fresh cowpie into it today, that ought to make good cover scent.
