    Tried both calculators, I'm getting 300fps on one and 297 fps on the other, and between 78.8 and 80 ft/lbs. Not bad for a 6 year old 63# bow, now where you say them buff wandered off to?

    Yes, you add up the weight of the peep, string silencers, D loop, anything you have on the string, with the exception of speed nocks. A simple peep like a Fletcher or Meta Peep and D loop will weigh about 20 grains. I think most people on average have about 28-30 grains on their strings for a hunting set up.
