Yeah! Double S taged out early, and just this week Chip taged out as did Lung Buster, and CaptJJ took a bear.

Yep, both Deerchser and I tagged out on does this year, and tried for a bear, but he wouldn't stay put... bear season is still on so we'll see.
My wife packed my bags and threw me out, as I was walking out the door, she told me "I hope you have a long and miserable life!"... To which I replied "Oh, now you want me to stay?!" LOL

Best of luck, have a safe and successful hunt. I will be working on my doe tag this week during my vacation.

Had a doe under my tree at 6:10 on Saturday, shooting light isn't until 6:30 - was still just a little too dark to make out the full form confidently to make a shot. Had a chance at one on Sunday also, came out around 4:20, but came in fast and I didn't have much time to react to the fact it was a doe. A lot of the ground cover is still up otherwise I would have seen her coming a lot sooner and the squirrels were making a ton of noise, so I kinda thought it was another one of them suckers again. Managed to get my bow without being noticed, but she stopped 5 yards from the tree facing me. Could just barely see her flank and there as no way I was going to take that shot going just about straight down to a doe standing straight at me. She stopped long enough that if she was broadside it would have been a done deal and then trotted off straight ahead and then turned where I could have possibly made a shot if the canopy wasn't still up. Got a feeling it's gonna be a good season.

A little common sense goes a long way, unfortunately it's in short supply!
