Great photo! I applaud your decesion to let him walk, he is a good looking two year old, and will be much better looking next year, if some forceless hunter does'nt take him out. Personally, I'd rather take a buck that has had a chance to sow his oats, contribute to the gene pool. Plus an older buck will be larger, putting more venison in your freezer.

Here is the story. This little buck comes by all the time. He thinks he is the boss buck. He is chasing off the spikes and getting in fights with them. He even ran off a bigger fork horn. He will even run the does away but not for fun. He will however let the yearlings hang out with him.
I used my phone to take this pic as he was feeding. My Onza is on a hook on my left. I could not see the sight and deer on the screen without getting busted by some does. So after about ten shots I finally got a decent one. Or so I thought. If you remember, I said he was at 15 yards. If you look at my pins you will see the 3rd pin is on his vitals. My 3rd pin is actually my 35 yd pin. So, upon seeing this I was reminded of Luke Skywalker trying to use his targeting system on th exhaust port of the Death Star when Obi Wan's spirt said to "use the force Luke" hence my title.
    Enjoy and happy hunting!!!

@ Es4x5-I have not seen this deer in 2 weeks! Someone or something got it or he relocated which I dont think he did. he would of been half way decent next year, to bad.
