Looks great Chris. All of your wife's and your hard work paying off. Remember to put $240 a month aside every month, before you know it, those property taxes will be due again. Good to have you back on line, are you posting from work?![]()

insurance and taxes are held in escrow.i have it set up to pay 350 a month into escrow.that way i pay over and have a good chunk of change left in it at the end of the year.as it sits after insurance and taxes where paid we have 820 in escrow.so buy december 2 i will have a extra 1170 sitting in escrow.
again thanks everyone.hard work it is.i have a 8 year plan to get all my re modeling done and if it is looking good enough to keep then we just might stick out the 30 year and the house will be what my girls get when i die.if the market is just too good to pass up then we will sell and try to get some property outside of town.
Congrats for the new house, GD!![]()

GD, when I bought my house the wife and I figured to be in it for 5 to 7 years and then move to something bigger. As luck would have it and as life styles evolve we are still in the same house-------36 years later. The hard part to swallow is that although it's been paid off for 13 years now it's somehow still under construction. Remodel this, remodel that. And do all the work myself.

i have a felling it will be the same with us.my wife has big plans and i have plans to get it looking top knotch on a budhet and sell.more then likley we will stay in it but i hope to sell and move.but with the chunk of change my wife will be getting we could pay off 3/4 of the house and have it all paid off with in 5 years after that.lots of options a few years down the road so i guess by then we will have some sort of joint plan.lol
Great looking house...
congratz to you.......
hope to see your shooting range up very soon, so you can put some arrow on the target butt....![]()
