Default What glue you Trads. use

Thought I should post this here, I am getting into feathers and wonder what glue you guys use on a carbon shaft. Not shooting a trad. bow.

Fletchtite Platinum here too. I've also had great results with Bohning Fletch Tape - and no waiting for it to dry!

Bohnning Tape is awesome!!! Put a dab of Fletchtite on the leading and trailing edges of the feather and you should be good to go!!!

Good luck...and show us your crafted arrows!!!

Locktite cyno thin and use a toothpick to spread it. Then a dab of thicker Locktite gel on front and back as stated previous. Fast and secure. Use it on both feathers and plastic vanes. I will add that I prep shaft or wraps with liquid sander.

I once tried the feather tape long before Bohning started marketing it, maybe 30 years ago, and wasn't impressed. It stuck pretty well, but because the feather wants to curl it didn't hold the ends in place. I did learn to spot glue the ends. Back then I used Arrowmate NPV for most of my fletching and although I've used Fletchtite and Fletchtite Platinum since then.I recently went back to the NPV and like it, again. The tape might have been improved so I might give that another try one of these days
