New Pantera owner

Gratz and welcome. I'll be doing some more in depth investigating with the XT after the season finishes up. Never really got too deep into tuning my Bengal up because it was shooting great right out of the box, but I'm pretty positive that there is more to be gained.

Ok now listen to this,I got home yesterday to find another bow on my porch.it seems it was a duplicte order.so I checked my paypal acct and I only paid for one bow.anyway I beleive its best to be honest I emailed the seller and told them if they mailed me a return shipping label I would be happy to send it back.I guess we'll see what happens!

thanks for the honesty, it's the best way to handle things... meanwhile...if your lucky , maybe it was the Christmas buy one get one free special they're running on cloaked panatera's , or at the very least you unknowingly subscribed to a "archery equip trial-by-mail" promo and they just want you to use it for a weekend,lol.

I only opened the box to see what it was, the bag the bow was in is still sealed and I put it right back in the box and closed it back up didnt want to buy it if I dont have to. Anyway got a msg that the seller is out until the 3rd. I will gladly send it back but I dont think it should be on my dime

I must say that yhis new Pantera in a dream to shoot,I had been shooting my oneida for 20+ years.the last Martin I bought had Megawheels on it if that tells how long its been.the 80% letoff is nice too(im not as young as I use to be)lol.

What does the sticker on your bow say for String and Cable lengths? I have a 2012 Pantera and it says that the String is supposed to be 85 1/4", but when I took it off to measure it, it was 93 1/8"! I don't think it could have streached 8"! I'm guessing they wrote the wrong dimesions on my sticker.

Dean, you might be best off to call Joel at Martin and get the right info. Unfortunately the spec charts on their website doesn't show string/cable lengths.
