    Default Got a Bohning tower!

So far it does great. I got the whole kit, with 3 sets of arms.
"Fast, accurate, and easy, fletch 3 vanes in one simple operation, the most precise jig on the market, comes with 3 sets of arms (3 degree helical--up to 2.25" vane, 2 degree offset--up to 4" vane, and straight--up to 4" vane)."

If I were to get into selling arrows this is not the set up I would do. Bitz's are the only way for long term use. But this tower surely impressed me the first time AS used it. He did a 3 degree helical and on Blazers and it was perfect.

The tower works awesome with Blazers. Had mine for a year now.

    Only 4" vanes, not feathers.

I guess I'm not understanding why the clamp would hold a vane but not a feather.
I used to use an old Jo Jan single jig with a straight clamp and fletch feathers with an offset.
I know the feathers should be done helical but - depending on the shaft diameter - they will lay flat enough to glue on with just an offset.
May not work with the diameters of most modern carbon shafts, I think I was using 2412's or 24somethings back then for target shooting...
Probably still have some of them old arrows hanging out.

Looks good Bill, maybe you should try a few feathers and let us know

I started using 2" feathers last year, using an Arizona EZ fletch mini (helical) with fantastic results. I don't know why the tower wouldn't also!

Well Spiker, I agree it should do feathers. But I can say for sure. It says it doesn't but like anything else they say something like that just so you buy another jig.
