We've only had about 12" total of snow this winter so far, and on the ground right now is no more than 5". That works for me.

Its just getting to the part of winter I like up here in the NW; the snow on the west side doesn't really start to fly until about now and the cold sets in. Otherwise winter here is just wet .

Sometimes I wonder why I moved to the west side of the Cascade range....
My wife packed my bags and threw me out, as I was walking out the door, she told me "I hope you have a long and miserable life!"... To which I replied "Oh, now you want me to stay?!" LOL

Because you don't have to shovel rain off the driveway?

At the rate the weather patterns are changing, people will be moving to New England for the winter.

Where's winter for us, just cold, no snow, no rain, I guess that's why they call it a desert. Oh and wind, lots and lots of wind, 60mph and under 30 degrees make it bite my old bones. Like I tell my church friends from the land of the frozen chosen, there's two months out of the year there, Jan-Feb when you don't want to go outside and there's July-August here. My wife thinks we own the gas company the way she runs the furnace, no, we just paid for it last month.
