    Default Shadowcat Owners...anyone shooting 65% let off?

    bought a 2011 model off AT and am planning on messing with it to get less let off...anyone have theirs with less then 80% and have it comfortable to shoot.....tried to do this on my Onza and it didnt got so well..wondering how t would work on the shadowcat since they have the same cams

    You'll find much the same I'm afraid. You can get 65%, but why would you want to? Assuming your using a 70# bow, that leaves you holding 25# at draw, 21# on a 60# bow, or even 18# on a 50! The amount of performance gained is not worth the lack of comfort IMO....

    On my Onza I am currently set at about 78%, leaving me at about 15#, and there's just enough valley left that I don't feel like the bow wants to take the arrow back. Its a personal preference thing I suppose..

    2011 Onza 3: 70#, 28.25 draw (AMO), 384 gr arrow, 288 fps
    2005 Saber: 70#, same arrow, 250 fps
