    Default Bad burns

Just came across an article about burns,
come to find out, as most know cold water is the first thing to do, this cools the area, and stops the tissue from burning more.
What i didn't know is if you separate egg whites from the yolk, and apply the whites to the burn and let dry, the whites are collagen rich and will help the skin heal faster and with less scarring
proven fact and some EMT's and doctors know this.
wondering how to add that to the survival pack, though if you dip an egg in olive or canola oil, and keep it cool ( not necessarily in a fridge) they will keep up to a year. oil keeps the air ( oxygen) from penetrating the shell causing it to spoil, ( egg shell are permeable by air)
just a little helpful hint for those of us that misplace our common sense sometimes

also if you dip the egg in hot wax it will stay fresh with out the need of a fridge.

i wont put a burn in cold watter.it makes it blister more and hurt longer.i just let it run its course and the pain stops in about 20-30 min.
