Good luck on the project. I'd give you a hand, but only as a Supervisor and even then I'd be in the way.

Not enough travel in the linear actuator(7"). I snagged the guts out of a top wind A frame jack and got the main body and compression arm done yesterday between rain showers. Been raining for over a week and still another week forecasted so its been slow. I'm trying to decide whether to buy the fingers or make my own. If i make my own,I'll have $0 into the project since I've got all the stuff lying around. I might go w a hand wheel instead of a crank, but I may make that too. I'll get some pics. I've really been slacking on the pics, lol. I need to get some for your website, also.

I found a nice little electric motor that I'm using for an arrow saw also. I just picked up some 3" cut off wheels for it yesterday. Found them for $.79/ea. i've got the stuff to make an arrow spinner, too.

so far,so good. I ran out of cut-off wheels and didn't feel like going to get more. I'll pick some up tomorrow and start on the press fingers. That's the hardest part. So far I have $0 into the project. The only thing I'll have to buy to finish it is more cut-off wheels and a can of plasti-dip. The only tools used so far: 4.5" angle grinder,Craftsmen flux-core welder(I hate it). The steel pieces and parts already had holes in them so I utilized them to save time and extra work.
