Fletch Contact On 08 Bengal

anyone else had trouble with the fletch contact with the cable. contacted martin & they sent me a new cable slide. it helped some. i didnt get clearance until i swiched to acc 3-28 arrows

Try rotating the slide, and the arrow.

the slide on the 08 model is straight not bent like the 07

I own an 08 Bengal with the straight cable guard.When I set up my Whisker Biscuit rest, I referred to the instructions on page 5 of the Compound Tech Manual. I'm shooting 2" Blazer vanes with the cock vane up and have approximately 1/8" clearance between the right vane and the cables.By turning the nock a bit counter-clockwise you can gain more clearance.Check if you rest is centered.The manual can be down-loaded from the Martin website.

Once i went to acc arrows i now have clearance without having to tune my arrow. Aluminums had to be turned to get any clearance at all.
