    Default Back again

Some might remember me having a few posts here for a while couple years ago. Still shooting my 2002 cougar XRG and still loving it, which brings me to a question. Are there still any elite or XRG limbs getting about? Mine has the single fusion cam and want about 60# - 65# max. My limbs are still okay but just want some back up. Carbon weave would be preferred but camo ok, and I'm not hanging out for these , mainly just a query to see if any are available still. Thanks .

Martin quit making them a year or so ago and probably have only a few or none in stock. Assuming you plan on paying for a set I would try to pick up a set from somebody on Archery Talk. Second choice would be to contact Dave Barnesdale and have a pair made. These would be cheaper than a set from Martin and you'd have the best limbs that money could buy.

I've been hearing alot about Barnsdale limbs recently, are they really that much better then Martin's?

I love my scepter, the idea that one day I might have to retire it due to missing replacement parts makes me uncomfortable. Yeah I know, there are plenty of other bows out there...
