    Default ?? On Martin STS string stopper....

    I just bought a close out Rack Attack AKA Exile ...It has a place for the STS and I would like to put one on it..Martin does have some STS on it parts page. My ? is do the have to be exact for that bow ?can they be cut? Or ,,it is a 7 inch brace bow and is that all that matters ...I think it is a 211 bow...Thanks,,

    Your best bet is to call Martin customer service and find out for certain. That's how I had to get the right one for my '11 Onza...

    As Wabbitt says you can call customer service to find out what you need, but barring any communication problems the part # for the standard STS is 8897. It's essentially just an aluminum rod bent into a dog leg form with the bumper on it. It can be cut to any desired length you like if it's too long.

    Now here's another suggestion. Should you have any problems with Martin you can just buy a standard 3/8" bent cable rod and cut it down to fit and buy the rubber bumper. Most archery shops have replacement bumpers. After you figure out where it's going to contact the string don't forget to serve this area.
