    Question Arrow for 45lb Bengal

My Bengal has been turned down to 45 from 60lbs and I am shooting a GT XT Hunter 400 spine. Would you drop down to a 500 spine arrow, and which one? Broad head will be a 105 grain Muzzy Phantom or a 4 blade Buzz Cut.

I don't know if I would mess with it have you tried the arrows and see how they fly......might not need to change could also go with a 75-85 grn BH if you have problems cheaper than new arrows....

I agree with Speedy. Try what ya got and see how they do. Don't know your draw length or arrow length, but I'm shooting GT UL 600 at
45#, 27" (arrow & draw length) with 80gr up front. A 500 with insert and 100gr tip bare shafts near perfectly for me.

I am done. Added 10 grains to insert and put two arrows in to a coffee cup lid out to 40 yards, same arrow Rage 40KE NEVER thought I'd use a contraption like that but, it works.

Honestly, I think if you're thinking of using a Rage 40 KE you're on a road to disaster with a 45# draw weight. That "40" means 40 ft/lbs of kinetic energy, not 40 lbs of draw weight. And even if your bow is producing 45 lbs of energy I think the marketing claims are being very optimistic.

Those new Maxima Red arrows may be what you need because 1 spine can be used for lots if different poundages, at least thats what they say.
