Smile My Gail Martin Recurve arrived today. Very Happy!.

I was out mowing and the UPS man showed up with my order from Martin. I wasn't expecting it so fast. I still need to tie on an nock set and place the shelf rug on but the urge over took me to go out and shoot it. I checked the bow out for any flaws, twists. I placed the string on at 7" BH for now. I grabbed a few arrows and out to the side yard I went. Its a Gail Martin Recurve, 30# @ 28". No Signature.

I took a few shots at 10-12 yards and put her away until I can get her properly set up. The first thing I'll order will be some strings from Chad.

    Default pretty!

That is classy and classic, SS. Enjoy.... o

What would that be, Sonny; a whitehorn or a prongtail ? Takes me back to hunting Jackalopes in my well misspent youth in Wyoming....

Great looking recurve! I was so impressed with the draw curve chart for that bow. I'm jealous!

Thanks. I'm very happy with it. I placed the leather shelf on and tied a nock set on. I'm getting ready to go out and check the brace and shoot.

On the 3-d target. i forgot to mention, I bought it for my son. It shows the vital area and bone structure. The other side is plain with no paint on it.

Beautiful wood on your Gail Martin!

You might want to check the tiller, mine was way off and I had to send it back so they could properly tiller it. Now it is how it is supposed to be!

I think I should be jealous, but I guess I'll just have to plug along with my Diablo.
