    Default Close Quarters Hunting

Hopefully this link works. Someone sent this to me on Facebook, I don't know anything about the video, but it's good. I'm sure they don't mind me sharing.....

I wonder if the hunter ever got off a shot? Video ended before I saw a shot. Sure would have made me nervous, I once took a photo of a bull from 10 feet, he was comming out of a sunlit field and I was in the deep shade, in camo, I know he did'nt see me, but all I was armed with was my Nikon, I backed up!

wow, I have had wild deer within 5 feet of me when I was on the ground hunting them without a material made ground blind, but they were young of the year fawns. I've had deer walk right past my ground blind window that I could have reached out and touched, even a year and a half old buck. I can't imagine what it's like to have something as big as an elk that close!!! oh ... and as far as bear, before they ever get that close I am making noise hoping to scare them off, I don't trust those crazy animals.
