    Default Bcy x

Just received a set of BCYx Strings and Trophy Cable from Bow String Depot (Hutch), they look great in Mountain Berry an Mt Bronze. I'll start testing them next week and give you all a good or bad report on BCYx. I will say that hutch puts out a good looking String. Will have photos also.

Got a set of ProLine made "X" made strings at first announcement of new BCY "X" material. Said to the best of two worlds, 8190 and 452X. Mine look waxed, that nice. ProLine might be one of the mass producers, but that claim of their rubber speed sleeves being safer that brass nocks covered with shrink tubes I think was balony. Already heard reports of them slipping. So I held off putting them on until I sold the bow. When have you ever heard of brass nocks covered with shrink tubing flying off the string? Me, never....

Sonny, sounds like Proline is being sponsored by Bowjax. Hmmmmm if there is such a problem with speed nocks and shrink tubing, then why are all the bow companies still installing them from the factory.

I have a Strother Rush SX thats going on 2 yrs old now that came with the BowJax string sleeves in place of brass nocks from the factory and they have never moved.
I also have a '13 Alien X4 that has the BowJax sleeves on it rather than the brass nocks and they have never moved either.
    Both bows have 452X.
One of the sleeves weighs the same as 3 brass nocks.
Not saying that one is any better than the other.
I'd think that the sleeves may be able to move if the string was smaller diameter (less thread count) and the sleeve didnt fit really tight but, if it is an issue - just serve above and below it.

Well, if pics are needed to show that the brass nocks are a safetly issue, then it didn't happen. I ain't never has a issue. If meaning the speed sleeves, I ain't never seen that either. (My English would be so proud of me )

One thing I do know is the bowjax sleeves don't offer smaller sizes. When I do speed nocks for bows with 2 3 2 . The sleeves weight is the equivalent to 3 nocks can't use them for the 2 nock position.
