You ain't kiddin,if you killed the max you would pretty much have to eat a deer a day the whole year to consume all of them.lol

6 to 1? still lop-sided. in Texas it depends on the county. The worse case is one buck and one spike.the best is 5 deer, no more then 3 bucks. Or the super best is a ranch that has Managed Land Deer Permits. That is where TPWD sets the amount to be killed on lands that have strict management goals. My county is for deer, no more then 2 bucks.

    One Deer per year. Colorado.
If your lucky enough to draw a tag.
Or save up points for a few years to draw your tag.

Cuz everyone knows - there aint no Deer here...
And Archery season is the middle of August to the middle of Sept.
Mulies are in the rut then right.?.?

Actually this year you can get an 'over the counter' tag for Whitetails Only, during Nov-Dec, in a few area's along the west side of interstate 25.
So you could get 2 Deer in the same year...
'They' started this because 'They' dont want Whitetails to invade any farther into the state.
I've seen about a dozen Whitetails in this corridor - and I'm 56...

    Sorry for bit-chin.!!!

If you really wanna get it going - ask about the history/situation of Bear hunting in Colorado.

-Oh yeah - - - thats all bow or gun. One Deer per year...

    South Carolina
    My Game Zone:
Bow season & Rifle/other fire arms from Aug 15- Jan 1st
    Unlimited Bucks (Aug 15th-Jan 1st)
Doe days (2 per day) 1 day a week generally all of October, part of Nov & Dec
5 doe tags may be purchased & use any day after Sept 15

Don't hate me, but my 2nd passion in life is a SC tradition - dog hunting. We run black & tans, blue ticks, beagles, Walkers, Red Tics usually. If you think shooting a deer w a bow is tough try shooting one flipping a road @ 40 MPH without hearing him bc 50 head of screaming hounds are running him. My daddy took me when I was 10 & hearing the dogs run was flat magic then & remains my crack. No wounded deer are lost on our 2,000 tract we hunt....if we find blood & a blue tic hasn't caught the deer ole' Roy, bloodhound, gets on em 100% of the time. I should point out, private clubs have their own tags & we all share the meat regardless of who killed (random #s are drawn)

Our rules are 6 deer statewide, no more than 2 bucks (at least 3 pts on 1 side) or up to 6 does with archery.......firearm(rifle, shotgun, muzzleloader) 1 doe, 2 bucks.....

yea, we're allowed 2 bucks and 1 doe with a gun......our g&f is pretty dumb.........but we kill a lot of 2 year olds.....and have a buck to doe ratio of about 1:30

    Oh yea, Arkansas
