    Default a rocky start

    Bucks- 2
    T8- 0

Due to some fever and just plain old stupidity I have managed to kill 2 trophy rocks. This resulted in a shattered maxima, 2 bent Rage broadheads, and a broken Nockturnal.

Too late, I took a pic. So, it did happen. I think. Maybe not. These aren't the pics I am looking for?

Sure looks like something happeded there, looks like some dirt was kilt! That stuff is hard to trail and makes the worst tastin stew.... Myself, I did'nt even get a shot off this year, got to about half draw on a little spike on Opening morning, then he bounced into deeper cover...my season in a nutshell. Next year, for maybe!

I still get buck fever, it's hits me the most when I see them from a distance and they are moving my direction. This year everything happened so fast that it was more reaction then a planned ambush. Hang in there it will happen for you, always expect the unexpected.

T8, it happens to us all. I've been skunked on deer and turkey for the last two years, unless I pull out a deer before Jan. 1st. Season ends Dec. 31st here. So far I've missed one deer and 2 coyotes this season.

It happens this season has consisted of two misses and a doe that was a lot smaller then I thought... she was 200 yards out with the .270 and by herself, shot the spots right off her (just about) I felt terrible.
