    Default Arrow-weight for Martin Hunter

    Hello all,

    i'm a proud owner of a Martin Hunter with 45#. Can you tell me the minimal arrow-weight for this bow (lbs/inch).

    Thank you very much for an answer...

    I tried the customer service/tech contact at the martin page, but it doesn't work??!!

    As with most bows today the rcommended arrow weight is 5 gr/lb of draw weight.

    Der Customer Service sollte aber eigtl funktionieren, es sei denn du hast eine gmal-addy oder ähnliches.

    I would recommend a Minimum of 9 gr./lb. for any recurve/longbow.

    That would equate to a 405 gr, minimum arrow weight.

    Excuse my mistake, of course not lbs/inch - gr./lb, sorry.

    My new arrows (Beman MFX and Gold Tip Trad.Hunter) are over 400gr - i think this is ok.
