Would I be ok with a 62" or do I need to be looking at a different bow altogether. It sucks having a long draw :-(

I draw an inch more than you, and shoot a 62" bow with no problems. The Diablo is very smooth drawing and shooting bow. And good looking as well, the only thing I don't like about it is the square limbs butts ( where they mount to the riser ) would look better if they were rounded. IMO.

Obviously the jaguar has mostly great reviews. Can I expect the same from the Diablo? Does the extra metal in the riser catch on the wrist?

I don't know. I think the diablo is quite impressive. I have gotten many compliments on it from archers and people who don't shoot. Hi shot with a guy that had a 40lb jaquar He was a good bit taller than me. I am 6ft. He said thought my bow was shooting faster. I had lighter arrows and a faster string. He had the dacron it comes with. I have a flemish made with something that is supposed to be faster.
I had ordered my diablo and during the two weeks that it took to arrive I was wishing I had ordered a Samick. But from the day I got it I have not regretted getting it

After a tester with a 60" bow at club shoot today and feeling no pinch I have ordered the Jaguar. Cant wait for it to get here now.
