    Default SlayeR

The SlayeR walked in last night, No strutted in. I'll. send better photos as soon as I get a drop on it. I did shoot with a whisker brisket and yep fast. I'm like a kid in a candy store or and old guy at the gun shop. Thanks Jim

The draw is just a little long, will replace the D-Loop, shorter and see. I'v only put a few arrows down range and feels good. Have to work the next two weekndes befor I get a chance to put her to the test and get it zero-in. Will get her fine tuned befor a 3D shoot in April here in Flagstaff. I'm sure I will have folk come up and ask what's that.....

My friend elkslayer was interested in that bow but right after I mentioned it to him you committed to buy it. He hadn't even read my post to him yet. He literally missed it by minutes. It will be interesting for you, but you might notice something really neat. Up to 30 yards, the time of flight for your arrows vs. the "hotrod bows" of today seem very similar. But beyond 30 yards, for some reason, the Slayr's arrows are faster, and my 40, 50, and 60 yard pins have less gap. The only thing I can attribute it to is that the arrow, since less "upset" at launch, recovers quicker and therefore becomes much more aerodynamic sooner. Although cable guide bows can shoot well, why handicap yourself? Wish I had a high speed camera to prove it.
