Default Another Recurve Turkey with my Martin

This one a Rio Grande from Kansas public land, 7 jakes came right in. 10 yard shot was a little lower than I like but the 150 Snuffer did lots of damage and it went down about 75 yds away; arrow blew through the bird and travelled 15 yards past the impact.

    On their way:

    The set-up:

    Recurves: 40lb X-200, 45 & 50lb Hunters, 45lb Mamba

You and the Mamba are scoring great on the turkeys. What kind of call are you using? Two more to go for the slam. Are you going to try for 'em?

The Mamba is working for sure. I use a mouth call from Hooks, but the DSD decoys really help to bring them in close. I've taken everything but and Osceola for a slam with a bow, but want to do it with a recurve now. Will try for an Eastern back in NY in May (maybe Ohio in late April), then off to Florida next March if all goes as planned.
