    Default 3-D shoot today (yeah I know, another one)

    Cherry Valler Bowhunters is having thier 18th Annual Big Horn Canyon shoot today.

    The weather looks like it's going to be a nice one, mid 70's.

    Lord! Here it is March 23 and I've yet to shoot a 3D. Cold, snow, wet, mud up to our ears.... Gahhhhhhhhhhh!

    This month and next for me is all about getting fire wood cut for next season with a little bit of shooting and try to start up a 3d season in may. there was a time that I would not miss a 3d in 20 miles of me year round sometimes two a day

    Okay everyong, here are some pics.
    I shot like crap, dropped 4 targets for the day and shot way to many 5's.
    There wer 9 guys in my class and I ended up in 5th. Just 5 points out of third, shot a 238 for the day.
    Winning score was a 290.

    I don't know Don, even with the broken wing you're shooting better than most!

    elkslayer4x5 asked-Steep course, don't fall off the trail!! How much longer till you get outta that sling?

    It has only been 4 weeks last Wed. that I had my surgery.
    When I saw my doc on the 18th he said he wanted me in this imobilizer for another 5 weeks.
    I think it will be at least another 2-3 monthes before I can even think about pulling my bow with my arm again.

    always love seeing your photos don.
    spectacular terrain there, the exact opposite of what i have at my club with short dark rainforest type gullies.
    reminds me of the cowboy movies from when i was a kid.
    keep the photos coming and take it easy during your recovery.
