    Default Awesome Shaker last night

My wife and I were kicking back watching a movie last night and all of a sudden the place started to rocking. She looked at me and I looked at her and we both said cool at the same time.
The quake happened about 22 miles from us, as the crow flys. It felt like it lasted for almost a full minite.
    It was mearured at 5.1

Reminds me of the time...Back in 79, a 7+ quake rocked the north bay area in Calif. The family and I were living in Santa Rosa. I was watching tv, kids were in bed, and the wife was in the tub. The quake ( centered about 25 miles north east of us ) hit and I could see the corner of house ripple above the tv, the wife screams, theres a crash, and the sound of braking glass comming from back in the bathroom, I rush back to see what had crached, wife is standing in the tub, panicked, and there's this awfull smell comming from the bathroom sink. Was already an archer at that time, no one in the family ever knew what to give me at Christmas or my birthday, and so they'd give me aftershave, must have had every thing on the market at the time, but only used Old Spice. Had all the rest on a shelf above the medicine cabinet/mirror, All of that had been dumped into the sink. Bathroom floor was flooded, wife said that the bath water has sloshed in big waves back and forth. We had a detached garage, next day I find that the garage floor had crack full length. Quite an experience!

My wife used to sleep in the buff, then in 94 when we had the Northridge Earthquake she started to wear a nightgown.
She ran outside when the quake hit and then noticed she was in the buff....LOL
My neighbor will never forgot that day either...LOL
