    you don't need a bow press with most martins. All you need to do is back out the limb bolts equally. Once you see the limb bolt ends in the barrel nut your string should go limp.

    I'm not real sure on this as your bow is an earlier Martin, but if I'm wrong, one or more of the other guys will lets us know. That said, you don't need a bow press to take your bow apart, safely. Back out the limb bolts a couple of turns at a time until you can see light through the barrel nuts in the riser, you will be able to go as far as just being able to see the limb bolt in the barrel nut ( this is true on my 06 Slayers and 04 Cougar III's ) and should also be true for you. At this point the cables and shoot string will be slack, and can be removed from the cams. Reverse the process to reasemble.

    Pretty sure it's a Rage. Didn't even have to second guess myself. Elevated stabilizer mount and 16" strait limbs.
