Just got the new strings for her bow today. As is always the case Hutch did a masterful job. Can't say enough good about them. 40 minutes after opening the package her bow is all set up, cams, balanced, draw length correct. What else is there to say. She won't even get to see the bow till tomorrow. I think she's going to be a real happy young lady.

Thankyou Hutch for such really fine work. And if Shayna had her little paws in it then she deserves her share of the credit.

Man I love watermelon! Ha! I am glad you like them Barry. I decided to come out of retirement and build you them. Man do they make the bow pop out!
Did the sts and center serving end up in the right place?

    Hutch
Everything is up to snuff, Bill. STS serving is right on the money. At first I didn't notice it and installed the string upside down. Saw my mistake and swapped ends. Center serving could have been about 1/2" higher (check the pix), but with the string loop it's still good. Nock fit is just what I like, too.

What impresses me the most is that I always mark the cam with a pencil where it passes thru the limb fork so as to have a good idea of the draw length setting. Jn this case I had removed 8 twists from each cable and added 14 twists to the string to make it fit her to a TEE. When I took these new ones out of the packaging I just installed them as they were. You remember building a 1" shorter string. Well, once installed my marks lined up close enough I can't tell a difference. The draw length is within 1/8" of where it was. Between my measuring and your quality string building we hit it almost on the money. Good job my man. I really dig the clear serving, too.

That is great news Barry, I had to adjust for the center serving and sts. So I am glad it was good. The Sting is 1 inch shorter and the cables (so you know) are and 1/8 longer to accommodate the shorter draw. Also its a new clear hope you like it.

I'm glad you had something to do with it. Also glad your ole man finally chipped in to help clear up the backlog.

By the way Bill, what material did you use. Trophy or X.

Got the bow all set up for her. The tune is better than before and the bow is just as quiet. Cam sync right on the money. Got her out to the club to set the peep for height and orientation. Took a couple times in the press to get it right and there is no rotation. Good job.

Being as she is an indoor shooter for now she wanted to shoot half a Vegas round. I let her shoot a half (300) as she hasn't done any substantial shooting for a while. That and she's shooting 32# now instead of her usual 27#, I didn't want to wear her out. Plus we had to get new sight settings. Once we established this she ended up shooting 30 arrows for a 274; only 8 points less than her previous all-time high. I see good things for her.

Hutch, she said she loves you. She is overjoyed. You did good.
